The Icon I by Michael Hermesh

This sculpture by Michael Hermesh is a study of the male nude form.   Made of plaster and with a steel armature this work can go outside if the base is duplicated in steel or concrete.   It is a mobile that can turn and face any direction. SOLD

Anatomy and psychology are one and the same to a sculptor in so much that anatomy is the only words that he can use in the real world. This piece is about strength, but more so the strength in the design and spirit of the youthful power. This is the same strength born of adversity if mortality is factored into the equation.

But sometimes a sexy butt is just that…. a sexy butt.
